今日是一個有效率的工作天，

CV更新了，abstract也寫好了。

年廿九收爐，初六啟市！

Just learnt these from the Bible study class.......

Psalm 23
A Psalm of David

1a "The LORD is my shepherd,......" = Relationship

1b "......I shall not be in want." = Supply

2a "He makes me lie down in green pastures,......" = Rest

2b "......he leads me beside quiet waters,......" = Refreshment

3a "......he restores my soul." = Healing

3b "He guides me in the paths of righteousness......" = Guidance

3c "......for his name’s sake." = Purpose

4a "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, ...." = Testing

4b "I will fear no evil,....." = Protection

4c "......for you are with me;......" Faithfulness

4d ".......your rod and your staff, they comfort me." = Discipline when necessary

5a "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies." = Hope and Justice

5b "You anoint my head with oil;......" = Consecration

5c "......my cup overflows." = Abundance

6a "Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,....." = God's blessings

6b "......and I will dwell in the house of the LORD......" = Security

6c "......forever." = For eternity, always

bsf Isaiah: comfort, comfort my people

有一大段時間沒有update bsf的進度
不經不覺已進入第15星期，
是整個課程的一半
過去讀1至39章都是幾章幾章一起讀的，
然而，過去一個星期
只是選讀40章1至11節...
以為功課好容易做...因為每天都是幾節...
原來不是，
這個小節是非常豐富
是關於上帝對屬祂的民的安慰，

一開始第一節：

"Comfort, comfort my people"

最喜歡的是9至11節

You who bring good news to Zion,
go up on a high mountain.
You who bring good news to Jerusalem,
lift up your voice with a shout,
lift it up, do not be afraid;
say to the towns of Judah,
“Here is your God!”
See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power,
and he rules with a mighty arm.
See, his reward is with him,
and his recompense accompanies him.
He tends his flock like a shepherd:
He gathers the lambs in his arms
and carries them close to his heart;
he gently leads those that have young.

A very timely message to me this week particularly.
好喜歡 v.9b 那一句

“Here is your God!”

God is here......

A homework question asked about what what I have learnt about God and His comfort. I think of v.11 immediately, "He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart." Being carried close to God's heart, all under His guidance and protection. This is the greatest comfort already.

graphic design

很又沒有做平面設計的東西，
這次是為一個international conference 做一張poster。

起初不知如何入手，
只是想起中學時代的平面設計原則，
用photoshop﹑illustrator 亂砌一通，
把所有information和相片都放入去
昨日完工...交課
(看起來有小小retro的感覺)

還可以啦~哈
